Infectious Disease Management of Binational Cases
July 29, 2008, 12:00 Noon Pacific Time, Infectious Disease Management of Binational Cases (#14229; 58 minutes) This program is part of a binational conference on Migration and Health. This presentation details how infectious disease recognizes no borders. Infections can spread from the U.S. south to Mexico and vice versa. Dr. Waterman of the CDC and UCSD details the disease tracking procedures in place and the quarantine procedures employed in the case of an infectious disease outbreak. The conference is sponsored by the Health Initiative of the Americas.
